Rust Item Store
Everything Facepunch is selling in the Rust item store right now, straight from Steam. These are first-party skins at a fixed price — not the player-to-player market, where the same skins can trade for more or less than Facepunch charges.
We can't reach the Steam item store right now.
Rather than show a stale list and let you think that's what's on sale, we'd rather say so. Check the store on Steam directly — this page should recover within the hour.
Store Rotation History
Steam doesn't publish when store items arrive or leave, so we record it ourselves: every time the store's contents change, a new entry lands here. Recording began on 4 August 2026 — the archive only grows from that date.
| First seen | Items in store | New vs previous |

Live from Steam's own item store for Rust (appid 252490), refreshed hourly and stamped with the time it was read. Rotation changes are recorded from our own daily snapshots (1on record). Prices are pinned to USD for consistency — Steam sets regional pricing, so your price in the client will differ and won't be a straight conversion.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Rust item store?expand_more
It's Facepunch's first-party skin shop on Steam — skins you buy directly with real money, at a fixed price. It's a different thing from the Steam Community Market, where players resell skins to each other at whatever price the market decides. Store skins are usually tradeable later, which is why market prices for them exist at all.
How often does the Rust item store rotate?expand_more
Steam doesn't publish a rotation schedule, start date or end date for item store entries anywhere we can read, so we don't put a countdown on this page — we'd be making it up. What we do instead: we snapshot the store daily and record every change, so the rotation history table below grows with each rotation, and items new since the last change get a New badge. In practice Facepunch tends to refresh store skins around its weekly update, but treat our recorded dates as the evidence, not that rule of thumb.
Is it cheaper to buy Rust skins from the store or the market?expand_more
It depends on the skin, and it's worth checking both. Store prices are set by Facepunch and fixed. Market prices float — an old or popular skin can trade well above its original store price, while plenty of skins sit below it. Our skins pages track market prices, so you can compare before you spend.
Can you sell skins bought from the Rust item store?expand_more
Generally yes — most store skins are tradeable and marketable once Steam's trade hold has passed, which is exactly why a resale market for them exists. Some items behave differently. Steam's own listing for a specific item is the authority on whether it can be traded.
Why are the prices shown in dollars?expand_more
Steam prices the store in the currency of whoever's asking, so we pin our request to US dollars to keep this page consistent for everyone. Your actual price in the Steam client will be in your own currency, and won't be a straight conversion — Steam sets regional pricing per market.
