Rust Mixing Table & Tea Recipes
Every tea in Rust — effect values, durations and all three tiers — plus what the Mixing Table costs and the berry recipes we can verify. Datamined straight from the game.
The Mixing Table
The Mixing Table is the deployable that brews teas from berries. Load it with a berry combination, wait out the brew timer, and collect the bottles. Every tea below is made here — there is no other way to get them, which is why a berry planter and a Mixing Table go together.
Not a default blueprint — research it or take the tech-tree path first.
This page is the data. For strategy — tier priorities, the two-tea starter kit, when Pure pays off — read the tea guide.

Berries: the tea supply chain
Every tea eats berries, and the colour mix determines the recipe — so serious brewers grow a spread of all six colours rather than one crop. Berries come from foraging bushes or, far more reliably, from planter boxes with decent genetics. The farming guide covers planters, genes and water if you're setting up a grow, and the genetics calculator plans the crossbreeds that get you to G-heavy berry plants.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does Ore Tea do in Rust?expand_more
Ore Tea increases the ore you get from stone, metal and sulfur nodes: +20% ore yield from nodes at Basic, +35% at Advanced and +50% at Pure, each lasting 30 minutes. Drinking one before a mining run is the single biggest yield multiplier available, and it stacks with hitting the bonus marker on every node.
How do you make Scrap Tea in Rust?expand_more
Scrap Tea is brewed from berries at a Mixing Table, like every tea. Basic Scrap Tea boosts scrap from barrels by 100% for 30 minutes; refining it with more berries steps it up to Advanced (+225% scrap from barrels, 45 minutes) and Pure (+350% scrap from barrels, a full hour). Higher tiers use the tier below as an ingredient, so brew a stock of Basic first.
How long do teas last in Rust?expand_more
Most tea buffs run 20 to 30 minutes: the gathering teas (wood, ore) and Anti-Rad last 30 minutes, while Max Health and Harvesting teas last 20. Scrap Tea scales with tier — 30 minutes at Basic, 45 at Advanced and a full hour at Pure. Healing and Rad Removal teas apply their effect immediately rather than running a long buff timer.
What berries do you need for Ore Tea?expand_more
Basic Ore Tea is 2 Yellow Berries and 2 Blue Berries at a Mixing Table — no blueprint required. Advanced Ore Tea then uses Basic Ore Tea as an ingredient alongside more berries, and Pure follows the same pattern from Advanced.
How do you get a Mixing Table in Rust?expand_more
The Mixing Table crafts from 200 Metal Fragments and 100 Stones at a Workbench Level 1. It isn't a default blueprint, so you need to research it or unlock it through the tech tree first, then place it in your base like any deployable.
