What you'll actually see is server-dependent: after a crew starts the Locked Crate's 15-minute hack, loots it and clears out, Small Oil Rig resets over the following stretch — scientists repopulate and a fresh Locked Crate appears — and modded or high-pop servers tune that cycle differently. The same goes for console: community-reported windows vary and none are official numbers. Treat a rig you just watched get taken as dead for a while, and scout the crate from a distance before committing a boat.
