Small Oil Rig

You need a fuse and a blue keycard. That's the full requirement to run the Small Oil Rig puzzle: put the fuse in to power the room, then swipe the cards in order. A card isn't used up by one swipe: each successful swipe wears it by one use, and a wrong card costs nothing (swipes per card here — Blue Keycard: 4).

Yes, Small Oil Rig has a recycler on site. That matters more than it sounds — you can break components down into scrap before you leave instead of hauling them home, which cuts what you're carrying if you die on the way back.

Small Oil Rig has low radiation, so bring rad-resistant gear — a hazmat suit covers it comfortably. Radiation protection stacks from individual clothing pieces too, so a full set of decent gear can be enough without a dedicated suit.

There's no official respawn timer — Facepunch doesn't publish one, and in the game files the rig's Locked Crate has no fixed respawn value because it's spawned as an event rather than on the normal crate cycle. What you'll actually see is server-dependent: after a crew starts the Locked Crate's 15-minute hack, loots it and clears out, Small Oil Rig resets over the following stretch — scientists repopulate and a fresh Locked Crate appears — and modded or high-pop servers tune that cycle differently. The same goes for console: community-reported windows vary and none are official numbers. Treat a rig you just watched get taken as dead for a while, and scout the crate from a distance before committing a boat.
