Released 1 May 2025

Rust Jungle Update

Adds a jungle biome over temperate coastal spawn areas with dense foliage, higher river density, and rivers made longer, wider and deeper so they must be swum. It brings new predators, primitive throwables and two jungle monuments.

Release date

Jungle Update released on 1 May 2025. Named Rust updates ship on the first Thursday of the month and land alongside a force wipe, so this is also the day every server's map reset. If you're working out when the next one lands, the wipe timer tracks it.
