RUSTLY
Released 2 April 2026

Rust Spring Clean

A quality-of-life pass built around interface and performance rather than new content, headlined by a complete F1 console redesign and tech tree multi-unlocking. It adds two craftable items — the Armoured Ladder Hatch and a Water Wheel — and rebalances fishing to discourage passive farming.

What's new in Spring Clean

Armoured Ladder Hatch (top-tier construction upgrade)
Water Wheel renewable energy deployable for rivers and oceans
Tech tree multi-unlocking system
Overfishing mechanic to discourage passive fishing
F1 console UI complete redesign
Coloured buttons with nested radial menu support

Release date

Spring Clean released on 2 April 2026. Named Rust updates ship on the first Thursday of the month and land alongside a force wipe, so this is also the day every server's map reset. If you're working out when the next one lands, the wipe timer tracks it.
