Giveaway Terms & Conditions

No purchase, payment or consideration of any kind is required to enter or to win. Every entry is earned through free actions on rustly.com. We will never ask you to deposit a skin, send an item, pay a fee, or make a purchase in order to enter or to receive a prize. Anyone asking you to do so is not us.

• You must be 18 or over, or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher.
• You need a Steam account at least 30 days old.
• You need at least 10 hours of recorded playtime in Rust.
• Your Steam Game details privacy must be public at the time of entry so we can verify playtime. You may set it back afterwards.
• Your Steam account must be able to receive items — see “Receiving the prize” below.

Entry is void where prohibited or restricted by local law. It is your responsibility to know whether you may take part where you live.

Entries are earned by free actions listed on the giveaway page — for example signing in with Steam, a daily check-in, or a qualifying referral. The number of entries each action awards is shown there and may change between giveaways.

One person, one entry set. One Steam account may hold one set of entries per giveaway. Using multiple accounts, automated tools, scripts or any other means to obtain extra entries will result in all of your entries being void. We may void entries or disqualify an entrant where we reasonably believe this has happened, and our decision on this is final.

More entries improve your chance of winning. They do not guarantee it.

At the closing time stated on the giveaway page, one winner is selected at random from all valid entries, weighted by the number of entries each entrant holds. We publish the winner's Steam display name and the draw date on the giveaway page.

We keep a record of every entry and how it was earned, so a result can be checked if it is ever questioned.

We contact the winner through their Rustly account. If we cannot reach the winner, or the prize is not claimed, within 7 days of the draw, we may redraw and select a new winner.

Prizes are delivered by Steam trade. Steam's own restrictions apply and are outside our control — in particular, you will normally need Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled to receive items without a hold, and your inventory must be able to accept the item. We cannot deliver a prize to an account that Steam prevents us from trading with.

There is no cash alternative. Prizes are not transferable. If a specific prize becomes unavailable we may substitute one of equal or greater value.

To run a giveaway we process your Steam ID, Steam display name, avatar, account creation date and Rust playtime — the last two solely to verify eligibility. This is covered by our privacy policy. We do not sell your data, and we never see or ask for your Steam password.

Rustly giveaways are run solely by us. They are not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Valve Corporation, Steam, Facepunch Studios or Twitch. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

We may amend these terms or cancel a giveaway where we reasonably need to — for example if it cannot be run fairly. If we cancel a giveaway that is already open, no entrant is out of pocket, because entry is always free.
