What's worth recycling for HQM
High quality metal is the bottleneck for everything good. Sheet metal doors, garage doors, tier-two and tier-three workbenches, most decent weapons and armor. Smelting HQM ore is slow and the ore is rare, so recycling is often faster.
Your HQM machines are tech trash (10 each) and any weapon body (20 each). If you crack a weapon you can't use or don't want, don't let it sit in a box. A busted rifle body is 20 HQM and 25 scrap. That's a garage door's worth of high quality metal from one component you were never going to shoot.
