Rust Power Trip

Turns the Power Plant into an island-wide power grid: Heavy Fuses plugged into its fuseboxes raise a global power level that changes monuments across the map. Powerline poles carry that electricity and become climbable, green recyclers outside safe zones run at 50% until the grid is fed, and several monuments gain powered mechanics — a red recycler and a power-gated loot room at Power Plant, a satellite crash terminal at Launch Site, Dome crude-oil pumping at Oil Rig, a chilled-food freezer at Abandoned Supermarket, water dispensers tied to Water Treatment, a working car lift at Oxum’s, and airdrop/cargo-heli terminals in the Airfield control tower.

Release date

Power Trip released on 6 August 2026. Named Rust updates ship on the first Thursday of the month and land alongside a force wipe, so this is also the day every server's map reset. If you're working out when the next one lands, the wipe timer tracks it.
